Keeping safe through the upcoming seasons

With the health and well-being of our guests and employees in mind, we would like to update you on our latest safety measures and actions for this upcoming seasons. Our comprehensive precautions however will not interfere with your well-deserved holidays. Perhaps now more than ever, taking a time-out by yourself or together with your loved-ones has become more important and we are as always comitted to making your stay memorable and as relaxed as possible.

Current measures

  • What do guests need to consider?


    As a hotel guest (staying overnight or visiting our restaurants) you must provide proof of testing, recovery or vaccination.

    The Austrian Federal Government has furthermore defined a 3-step plan based on intensive care unit (ICU).

    After arrival

    Guests who are not recovered from Covid-19 or are not fully vaccinated, are required to get tested for every day of their stay. This can be done directly at reception.


    No masks are required in hotesl and restaurant.

  • What happens if I am unable to arrive?

    Are you unable to travel and check into our hotel because of the following reasons, we will grant a free cancellations and fully refund your deposit.

    - Closing of borders by the government

    - Closing of the hotel by the government

    - Closing of the ski resort by the government

    If you are unsure about travelling, we strongly advise to buy a travel insurance for your trip. They grant cover in the event that you, as the insured customer, cannot start or have to interrupt the travel, because you or a close relative suffer from COVID-19 symptoms. More information

    We would like to advise that in case the government issues a stricter law and only vaccinated and covid recovered guests are allowed to be accepted into hotels, this does not present reason for a free cancellation for non-vaccinated guests.

  • 3-Stage Model for Autumn and Winter 2021/22

    Stage 1

    (currently in effect)

    For entry to hotels and restaurants, for cable cars (during the winter season), to enter Christmas markets, and for gatherings from 25 people, you will need to show proof of vaccination, past infection, or a negative test.

    FFP2 masks are required for everyone on public transport, in cable cars, and essential businesses such as supermarkets, chemists, petrol stations, banks. FFP2 masks are required in all shops and museums for those that are not vaccinated or have recovered from COVID.

    Après-Ski: Proof of vaccination, past infection, or negative PCR test (!) required. Antigen tests are not sufficient.

    Stage 2

    (7 days after exceeding threshold of 300 intensive-care beds occupied)

    Proof of vaccination or past infection required for night clubs, après-ski, and events without assigned seating with more than 500 attendees

    Antigen self-tests no longer accepted as proof (e.g. for restaurants, Christmas markets etc.)

    Stage 3

    (7 days after exceeding threshold of 400 intensive-care beds occupied)

    Proof of vaccination, past infection, or negative PCR test (!) required. Antigen tests are no longer sufficient anywhere.

    Après-Ski: Proof of vaccination or past infection required. A negative tests is no longer sufficient.

  • Ski lifts & cable cars

    We know how much you are looking forward to skiing again - even if it will be slightly different than usual.

    - You can purchase a ski pass directly at our reception, avoiding the public queues

    - FFP2 masks required

    - Our ski & boot room has a direct access to Strolz Ski Rental services, making it easier and safer for you to rent the required ski gear

    - If you like to avoid closed cable cars, the Schlegelkopf-chair lift with open bubbles is located right next our hotel

    - In all cable car/lift buildings (ticket offices, WCs etc.) and cable car/lift entrance areas, there will be info points and signs providing information about the Covid 19 safeguards and sufficient hand disinfection facilities.

  • Hygiene & cleanliness

    - Daily cleaning and disinfection of all public areas

    - Disinfectant dispensers in all public areas

    - Use of anti-viral agents and specific cleaning products

    - Daily cleaning of rooms and suites with anti-viral agents

    - Daily natural ventilation with fresh mountain air

  • Our staff

    - Tested every 7 days for covid-19

    - Temperature controls of each employee every morning

    - Well prepared and trained team

    - Extensive hygiene training of all employees

  • Local doctors & testing facilities

    There are multiple locations to get tested (PCR-test) here in Lech. We are happy to register our guests and offer free transport to the test facilities. There are also two GP's available in Lech:
